HBO Home Entertainment is set for release Rome (Season 1 and 2) on Blu-ray on June 7, 2011. The Rome (Season 1 and 2) Blu-ray release will contain the following bonus materials and extra features. The Blu-rays will be available for the of $69.98 each.
The First Season on Blu-ray will contain these special features:

- "All Roads Lead to Rome" - An interactive onscreen guide
- "Shot x Shot: Gladiator" - A closer look at the thrilling Episode 11 fight sequence.

- "When In Rome" - Featurette on the culture of ancient Rome.
- "Friends, Romans, Countrymen" - Introduction to the characters of Rome.
The Second Season's Blu-ray will feature the following bonus materials:
- Five audio commentaries

- "A Tale of Two Romes" - Explores the contrasts evident in Roman society and prevalent in Season 2.
